Our after-school program for kids age 3 through 5th grade resumes October 7 at 4:30 p.m. 


The Third Sunday of the Month

The third Sunday of each month is a special day for the young people (and future leaders) in our church.  Our children’s choir not only sings on this day, but also has a Peanut Butter and Jelly Mission project.  You can help by bringing a jar of peanut butter or jelly.  Just leave the jars on the front steps of the worship platform—or give them to an usher.  The children donate these items to the Ecumenical Food Cupboard each month.

Noisy OfferingOur Praise Band “Revelation” also leads the Worship Service on the third Sunday of the month by serving as liturgists and sharing their gifts of music to worship God.  These 15 teenagers range in age from 11 to 16 and serve the Lord with great joy and passion.  The congregation is encouraged to sing along with the band, but the band knows that they have an audience of only one—Lord Jesus Christ.


Of course, the third Sunday is also the perfect day to have the Noisy Offering!  The Noisy Offering is when the children collect spare change from the congregation in tin cans to be used for church camp scholarships.  People from the church also volunteer to be “Heroes,” and agree to match the Noisy Offering that is collected for that month.  We praise God for the success of this odd fundraiser and say thanks to our faithful church family and friends who care about the spiritual growth of our children by contributing to the Noisy Offering.
