Regular Activities:

Every Thursday – Join us for a meal at 11:30 in the Fellowship Hall. No need to call ahead. Just come to enjoy a good meal and good Fellowship. The meal is pot luck, with meat and potato type dishes furnished. If you prefer to not fix something – come anyway. There is always plenty of food.

There is an adult Bible Study following this Fellowship Meal every Thursday. The Thur. Bible Study is starting a new study on Angels from the Fisherman Bible Sudy Guide.
What - who - are angels? Where did they come from, and what is their purpose? What is their relationship to us as human beings?     This Bible study reveals the services these heavenly beings perform, the part they play in spiritual warfare, and how they differ from other beings in God's created order.
Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.
–Hebrews 13:2
Join the group for a drop-in meal at 11:30, or for the Bible Study starting at approximately 12:30.

The Out and About Group will travel to nearby Indianola area on Friday May 16 rather than on Tuesday, the 13th. The Garden Barn is open only on Thur., Fri., and Sat. We will visit local nurseries as time permits. Meet at the church at 9 a.m. to car-pool. We should arrive back in Oskaloosa about 4 p.m. Visit ww.thegardenbarn.com for information.

On the fourth Monday we meet at Pizza Ranch at 11:15 for an enjoyable time with friends. Bring a joke, inspirational story, etc. Or just come and have a friendly time of visiting.

We are big on drop-ins. Hope you can join us.

Sociable Stitchers – Meet at Virginia Hall's home the first Monday of each month at 1 p.m. If you enjoy quilting and stitching, join this group of our church women who have sewn beautiful quilts, lap robes, and baby blankets.
Sociable Stitchers completed 21 years of service to God and Missions in 2007.
This past year, they collected needed sewing and office supplies and delivered them to the University of Iowa Hospital for their Children's Department. They also sewed eight baby coverlets that were taken to Louisiana in January, 2008.

Home medical equipment
There is durable medical equipment (i.e. walkers, etc.) our church members are willing to loan out. The list is in a grey recipe file box in the office. Just call the person on the card to see if it is still available. Sign it out and hang onto your check book.
